老外说you're special 是夸你特别？你想多了...

当你觉得有个人对你很特别，可不能说“You are special”哦！

　　you are special不是“你很特别”

　　you are special  你傻得特别（开玩笑的语气）

　　you are special to me  对我来说，你是独一无二的；你很特别

　　在英语里，外国人很少用you are special来夸人特别，他们一般会加上介词to，外国人常用的是you are special to me。

　　而you are special，我们应该理解成，你还真是傻得特别，傻得清新脱俗啊。一般适用于朋友间开玩笑的场合。你的朋友犯傻了，你就可以对他说，you are special。

　　例句：

　　Today you missed your stop twice, you are special.

　　你今天都坐过站两次了,你也是傻得特别。

　　I want to tell you that you are special to me.

　　我想告诉你，你对我来说很特别。

　　special和especial

　　special   特别的;不寻常的；重要的

　　especial  格外的；特殊的；特别的

　　在英语里，special和especial很像，意思也基本一样，但是我们一定要学会区分。虽然二者都有特别的意思，但是special包含了更重要的、更好的意思。especial更强调程度超过一般，只可以作定语。

　　例句：

　　He has an especial dislike for comedies.

　　他特别讨厌喜剧片。

　　He is a very special person in my life.

　　在我的生活中，他是个非常重要的人。

　　one of a kind 与众不同

　　one of a kind 与众不同的；独特的

　　外国人经常用you are one of a kind来表示你是独一无二的。

　　例句：

　　You are one of a kind, I have the honour of your friendship.

　　你真的很特别，很高兴和你做朋友。

　　different from the rest与众不同

　　different from the rest  与众不同

　　与众不同，我们还可以说you are different from the rest。

　　很多同学都知道be different from表达的是与什么不一样，是英语里的常见短语。the rest是剩下的其余的意思。所以different from the rest的意思就是和其他人不一样，就是与众不同的意思。

　　如果有人对你说you are different from the rest，那他就是在夸你与众不同。

　　例句：

　　You are really different from the rest, we enjoy getting along with you.

　　你真的与众不同，我们都很喜欢和你相处。
