“冷空气”英语怎么说？
对于“冷空气”的翻译，可能很多人第一反应是“cold air”，Yee君告诉你，事情并没有那么简单。
因为英语中的cold air跟气象可没有半毛钱关系，它通常是指“冷风、冷气”。具体点来说，指的是空调吹的冷气或者说是冬天冰冷的空气，所以它并非一种气象现象。
但是“冷气团”可以用“cold air mass”来表示。
气象名词“冷空气”的正确翻译是“cold front”，也有“寒潮、冷锋”的意思。与之对应的是warm front，表示暖锋、热流。
front这个词，不仅有“前部、正面”的意思，它还有“前线、阵线”以及动词“面对，朝向，对抗”的词义，所以它还是专门的气象用语，指冷暖空气的交锋，表达这种对抗的状态。
例句：
Most parts of China will experience a rapid drop in temperatures along with snow and rain in the coming days as a strong cold front is on the way to hit.
一股超级寒潮正席卷而来，未来几天，我国大部分地区将经历迅速降温和雨雪天气。
