The United Nations Volunteers is the UN organization that supports sustainable human development globally through the promotion of volunteerism, including the mobilization of volunteers. It serves the causes of peace and development through enhancing opportunities for participation by all peoples. It is universal, inclusive and embraces volunteer action in all its diversity. Context

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism.

Task description

UNV China FU is looking for one motivated and professional Online Volunteer to support us in translation of a working document, e.g., corporate message and communication words on social media or similar. It is planned to have an about 5000-word descriptive document translated. The document is related to UNV's partnership with Chinese partners to facilitate the successful implementation of activities and daily operation work.

Requirements

Required experience

1. A bachelor's degree (or current enroll in) in International relations, public administration, English, Communication or other related field. 2. Have translation experiences (EN-ZH; ZH-EN) 

3. Have passion to act for promotion of volunteerism. 

4. Working experience in international organizations is an asset

Chinese, Level: Mother tongue, Required English, Level: Fluent, Required
